Ukiyo is a city of many colours and faces. Seemingly static but always in motion, it floats right before your eyes. Surrounded by a dark, cosmic void, Ukiyo appears as a beacon of light. The abstract, transforming shapes invite you to see the city in a new light.

This installation was first shown at the Dodonaeus Digital Arts Festival in Mechelen. After that it was presented with an enchanting soundscape by composer AMyn near Saint James' Church in Ghent in February 2018 as a part of Ghent’s Light Festival.
